Powder Coating

R&C Coating’s new powder coating facility is one of the most efficient in the whole of the UK, combining the latest technology with the full range of Akzo Nobel’s powders, service and reputation.

Our technology is inclusive of a state of the art auto plant incorporating a 6 stage zinc phosphate pre-treatment unit, an 8 gun infra- red spray booth, plus our new manual/batch plant to provide extra capacity for every possible customer requirement.

R&C Coatings established partnership with Akzo Nobel, whose worldwide knowledge in powder coating, will see us working together towards achieving a fully backed and formal guarantee on all products.

Powder coating is an environmentally friendly surface protection and coating alternative. Un-like a traditional wet paint system, there are no solvents used or required and as an extra control measure, R&C Coatings only use lead free powders.

The powder is applied via an electrostatic charge dispersed in a spray form. The powder adhesion to the product is only activated when heated up to around 200 degrees centigrade for a designated period of time.

This unique process ensures the final finish provides an excellent tough, scratch resilient product whilst leaving a smooth aesthetically pleasing surface resistance to atmospheric conditions, thus again minimising corrosion risk.

As part of Roebuck and Clarke, R&C Coatings still promote excellent customer focus, fast turnaround and the flexibility to work alongside our client to meet all their requirements.

R&C Coatings support high quality work practices, have achieved a full British Standard Accreditation and along with the fully backed guarantee, will ensure our quality and service are at the forefront of the industry.
